Cylindrical-worm reducers

Cylindrical-worm gearboxes are one of the most attractive technical solutions for the improvement and replacement of typical one- and two-stage worm gearboxes (CH, 2CH, CH2). The use of cylindrical-worm gearboxes allows you to obtain important operational advantages:

• to increase the service life of the reducer by at least 2…3 times (at the same moment T2), which is achieved by reducing the speed of rotation of the worm due to the cylindrical stage and, therefore, to obtain a 2-3-fold saving in costs compared to worm single-stage ones for repair and replacement of the gearbox;
• to obtain a significant saving of electricity, from 10 to 30%, due to the fact that the worm gear has a higher efficiency than the worm gear;
• to intensify the operation of the equipment, since the cylinder-worm gearbox allows to transmit a torque increased by 1.4…1.6 times and to perceive increased starting loads.
