The main technical purpose of 1C2U gearboxes is to increase the torque and decrease the rotation frequency. The unit serves both as an element within a complex transmission system and as a standalone device. The design features a closed, narrow housing made of cast iron or aluminum. It equipped with technological openings for shafts, lubrication, and installation. The two-stage mechanism positions the shafts horizontally and parallel, with the intermediate shaft enclosed within the housing.

Conditions of use of cylindrical two-stage reducers:

• constant and variable, unidirectional and reversible load;
• work is constant and with periodic stops;
• rotation of shafts in any direction; speed of rotation of the high-speed shaft up to 1500 rpm;
• the external environment is non-aggressive, non-explosive;
• provides torques of 315…5000 N.m in the range of gear ratios 8…40.
